Frank Tripucka

1962/63 Game Worn Jersey

Ring of Famer Frank Tripucka saved the Denver Broncos. He was brought to the team as a coach after an 11 year career in pro football. However the QB play was so poor on the first team in franchise history, he was asked to step in during practice so the team could complete passes during practice. This led to a little over three years as the new franchises veteran QB, selection to the Broncos Ring of Fame and having his number 18 retired by the team. This is the jersey that Frank wore in 1962/1963. Frank put this jersey in his bag and left the team for good in September of 1963.
