We are honored to play a small part in forever honoring Floyd’s legacy by working with Syracuse Alum Rob Konrad to help ensure a piece of Floyd’s Denver journey was represented. Our contribution for permanent display in The Legend of 44 display at the JMA Wireless Dome is Floyd’s game worn helmet from early in his career.

Back when the Pro Bowl was actually not only a football game, but one where the players played to win, the guys would show up to the game with their helmet and hand it off to the equipment manager to be painted.  

When those words were spoken at the 1989 NFL draft, the answer to that question was the name of someone who would become a fan favorite, Super Bowl Champion, Ring of Famer and finally, Hall of Famer.

While the size or the players have increased immensely over time, the size of the jerseys they wear have decreased even more dramatically.
