Ridell Prototype

1962 Helmet

When the Broncos were changing their entire uniforms for the 1962 season, Riddell prepared this prototype. It is decaled with the only known surviving Blue horse decal. The team decided to go with Orange helmets vs white but did use the Blue horse decal for the first few games of the season. It did not register well on TV, so they switched to white mid season.
